I Made a Million at Credit Repair with Robin Sobomehin!

How do you go from a dead-end job with a three-hour commute to running a million-dollar business from the beach? 

You do it by not getting stuck in life or stuck in traffic. 

You do it by making a plan, working hard, learning your craft, and not giving up!

That’s why on this week's podcast, new Millionaires Club member Robin Sobomehin stops by to share her inspiring story and explain how she built a successful Credit Repair business that always paid for itself!

 


Robin Sobomehin’s journey to the Millionaires Club began when she was stuck…

She was stuck in life and stuck in traffic. 

About five years ago, she had a regular dead-end 9 to 5 job and a nearly three-hour round trip commute. She would sit in her car and wonder, “Is this it? Is this all I have to bring to life?”

Then the turning point came. 

And it came by accident. 

There was an accident on her way home, and she was stuck in traffic for six hours!

Those six hours gave her time to think: “This is not the life that I want to see myself living…Go to work just to cook, go to bed, you know? The same thing. It's not okay.” She had what she described as a panic attack and decided, “I have to do something else!”

So Robin called her husband, and they had a family discussion. She explained that she wanted to quit her job and start a Credit Repair business. 

Robin told him, “If you trust me, trust me that I can start here, and in six months if I can match or exceed my income, I will do this…Are you good with that?” 

He said, “I trust you.”

Here are a few of the highlights… 

There are so many people out there who need help with their credit. How did you actually turn it into a business? 

It was a big step. And so when I saw that there was this 30-Day Free Trial, I said, “Okay, I don't have any money to invest. So, that means if I'm gonna do this 30-Day Trial, in 30 days I gotta have some clients to pay.” 

And, oh my gosh, I started that 30-Day Trial, and I got one client. And my thing was…if I can get one client, that means I can get another client. And that was my rotation. So in 30 days, I had four clients and it’s been on ever since!

So the beautiful part about my story is I truly feel as though this is a rags-to-riches story because I didn't invest anything. And here I am, in the Millionaires Club. This business has 100% paid for itself…from the advertising…to the software. The software was everything for me. And so for that, I'm so grateful. And thank you because here we are.

How did you get your first few clients?

I honestly feel like I could do a commercial on Credit Repair Cloud. I am the spokeswoman for this because everything that I needed was right there…This is what I call a business in the box. Everything I needed was right there completely…There’s a tab that says, I can't remember, but it's something about, “your return on investment.” If you have this amount of clientsthis is what it would be…if you follow these steps

That's exactly what it was. And I followed it to the letter…And so as I'm looking at these numbers, I'm getting excited. So I'm like, “Oh if I get 10 clients, this is how much I'll have? And all I have to do is this!”

It's so simple if you just follow the plan…And that's exactly what I did. So…it didn't take me long to get to where we are. Four months into this program I knew for a fact that there was no way I would ever work for anyone else if there was no reason to. So I am beyond grateful. I'm so excited. Because of this business, we've been able to venture out into so many different avenues, just things that there's no way I would've ever been able to do.

Are you working from home or from an office?

I work from home. When I thought about what this business looked like, again, my thoughts were, what can I do that won't cost me so much? You know? I wanna do things that make sense. I don't wanna invest a whole lot of money initially into advertising. I don't wanna invest a lot into a brick-and-mortar. So let's just bring this home. 

I have no intentions of getting a brick-and-mortar because that would mean I'd have to get dressed and go out. And I don’t wanna do that. So everything is from home and my clients love it because they can call me at any point. 

Are, are you running any paid ads?

Yeah. So in the very beginning again, I didn't have any money anyway, you know, to purchase ads and stuff. So we're talking about free ads through Facebook, advertising on Instagram, and just making sure that the word is out there. 

My objective was “How can I reach people for the lowest cost humanly possible?” And that was…if I'm gonna be on social media, that means I'm talking about credit. And so every day consistently to this day…it was all about credit. 

So we had t-shirts, I mean, cars that had car magnets. Anytime you think about credit in this area, you're gonna think about me. You're gonna see my face and this was all like virtually free, you know, very minimal cost.

How did the pandemic affect your business?

We got, I would say, three times the amount of clients during the pandemic. 

I think that the pandemic really opened up people's eyes and realized that credit is everything. So for my clients that were listening to me all the way, I mean, I'm getting emails saying, “oh my gosh, thank you so much because had I not been prepared, I wonder where I would be.” You know? Their credit was able to leverage them through certain situations, but it didn't affect us at all. Not in the least bit, in a negative way. It increased our sales big time.

What drives and motivates you?

Truthfully…the ability to travel. That is my biggest motivation at this point. I truly feel like I started this business because I want to be able to have the freedom to travel at my leisure. And this business has offered that.

I saw pictures of you and your husband in Mexico. It looked like you were on the beach working. Were you running your business from a beach?

We go everywhere. We are everywhere. We've been to Greece, Dubai a few times…We're all over the place…I said, “I just wanna see how many beaches I can dispute on.”
