How To Turn Crisis Into Opportunity (Quarantine Special)

Written by Daniel Rosen | April 15, 2020

We’re entering week number three of self-isolation, and with everything that’s been going on in the world lately, it’s perfectly normal to feel worried. It’s also okay to feel confused, scared, or anxious. These are all natural, human reactions during times of crisis.

All industries have been affected in some way, and credit repair is no exception. But moments of crisis such as this one, are also inevitably followed by massive opportunities. And if you can reframe the situation we’re in, you could start thinking about how to spend this time more constructively.

Yes, these are crazy times, and they’ll bound to stir up a rainbow of negative emotions. But you can’t let them overwhelm you to a point where you feel like you’re hopeless - because you’re not. Far from it!

So for today, I’m going to do my best to nudge you into thinking about the current situation through a more optimistic lens.

The One Thing You Should Do to Increase Your Productivity During Self-Quarantine

Last week, I found myself in a weird situation. Living, working, and doing pretty much everything else in self-quarantine was really starting to get me. I woke up one morning, but instead of doing what I would typically do, I unexpectedly drifted away from my routine.

Instead of showering and shaving like I usually do, I put on my robe and decided I would have breakfast first. After that, I got so caught up watching the morning news - I ended up pushing my work even further back. And before I knew it, the entire day had passed, and I was still in my robe, binge-watching Tiger King all day. I was feeling sad, depressed, and I didn’t get any work done.

It’s very easy to get consumed by negativity these days. You don’t have to go far to find heartbreaking stories that will shake you to your core. People everywhere are suffering, and it’s in your nature to empathize. Then again, you’re not doing anyone any good if you’re passing the time sitting around doing nothing.

“We need to better ourselves and better our businesses so we can come out the other side of this even stronger.” - Daniel Rosen

Straying from my routine was the worst thing I could’ve possibly done. So the next day, I got up early, pretended like it was any other workday, and acted as such. And not only did I get a whole bunch of things done, but I was feeling way better too.

So if you’re struggling to keep your productivity up working from home, I suggest you try to do the same. Stick to your routine. Dress like you would if you were heading to the office. Create a to-do list, and ignore the distractions.

You’re going to need your productivity because, in times like these, even though some doors are closing, new ones are opening up every single day.

What Are Some of the Opportunities Opening Up?

Whenever there’s a crisis, people find new ways to pick themselves up and do awesome things. During the last Great Recession of 2008, I was able to create my Credit Repair Cloud software. And what we’re currently dealing with will have an even greater impact on how we do business. So imagine what you’ll be able to do now if you start responding to opportunities that are being created.

“This is your chance to be in the right place at the right time.” - Daniel Rosen

Even though some industries have it real rough, I have to say - it’s a great time to be doing credit repair. First off, the mortgage industry is booming at the moment. And whenever their numbers are up, ours start to rise right along with them. If you’re running a home-based credit repair business, you’re probably already starting to feel it.

Second, because of massive layoffs and businesses closing down, people’s credit scores are going to drop during this period. They’re all going to need your help in getting them back up again.

In days that follow, people will need help with their desperately need credit repair. And if you’re serious about changing people’s lives with your work, now’s the time to do it.

Make Sure People Know You Do Credit Repair

The key to marketing and getting clients is about letting people know what you do, and you can help them. I can’t emphasize the importance of social media when trying to get your message across. So whether you’re on Facebook, Instagram, or some other platform, you have to make sure people know that you are the person that can help them improve their credit score.

It’s very simple and extremely effective. In fact, in one of our previous episodes, I’ve shared my super easy Facebook strategy, template message included, that will help you get your first client. You can check it out here!

Set Up Automations

Now that you’ve mastered the basics of credit repair, worked out your processes, and let everybody know you’re the right person to turn to, you can make your personal page. Create a space where people can get more information that will, in turn, help you acquire leads. Get your visitors to either book a call with you or get them to sign up for a freebie.

After getting their contacts and as you start building your list, you can set up automations to get even more clients. Create email sequences that will help you build a relationship with your audience. Share some tips and give them some free advice. It’s a great way of showing people you know your stuff, and they’ll be more likely to sign on for your offer once they realize they could use your help.

I hope these tips help you take advantage of these massive new opportunities.

Thank you for tuning in.

Stay safe, and keep changing lives!
