How To Turn Crisis Into Opportunity (Quarantine Special)

By: Daniel Rosen Last updated: April 15, 2020

We’re entering week number three of self-isolation, and with everything that’s been going on in the world lately, it’s perfectly normal to feel worried. It’s also okay to feel confused, scared, or anxious. These are all natural, human reactions during times of crisis.

All industries have been affected in some way, and credit repair is no exception. But moments of crisis such as this one, are also inevitably followed by massive opportunities. And if you can reframe the situation we’re in, you could start thinking about how to spend this time more constructively.

Yes, these are crazy times, and they’ll bound to stir up a rainbow of negative emotions. But you can’t let them overwhelm you to a point where you feel like you’re hopeless - because you’re not. Far from it!

So for today, I’m going to do my best to nudge you into thinking about the current situation through a more optimistic lens.

The One Thing You Should Do to Increase Your Productivity During Self-Quarantine

Last week, I found myself in a weird situation. Living, working, and doing pretty much everything else in self-quarantine was really starting to get me. I woke up one morning, but instead of doing what I would typically do, I unexpectedly drifted away from my routine.

Instead of showering and shaving like I usually do, I put on my robe and decided I would have breakfast first. After that, I got so caught up watching the morning news - I ended up pushing my work even further back. And before I knew it, the entire day had passed, and I was still in my robe, binge-watching Tiger King all day. I was feeling sad, depressed, and I didn’t get any work done.

It’s very easy to get consumed by negativity these days. You don’t have to go far to find heartbreaking stories that will shake you to your core. People everywhere are suffering, and it’s in your nature to empathize. Then again, you’re not doing anyone any good if you’re passing the time sitting around doing nothing.

“We need to better ourselves and better our businesses so we can come out the other side of this even stronger.” - Daniel Rosen

Straying from my routine was the worst thing I could’ve possibly done. So the next day, I got up early, pretended like it was any other workday, and acted as such. And not only did I get a whole bunch of things done, but I was feeling way better too.

So if you’re struggling to keep your productivity up working from home, I suggest you try to do the same. Stick to your routine. Dress like you would if you were heading to the office. Create a to-do list, and ignore the distractions.

You’re going to need your productivity because, in times like these, even though some doors are closing, new ones are opening up every single day.

What Are Some of the Opportunities Opening Up?

Whenever there’s a crisis, people find new ways to pick themselves up and do awesome things. During the last Great Recession of 2008, I was able to create my Credit Repair Cloud software. And what we’re currently dealing with will have an even greater impact on how we do business. So imagine what you’ll be able to do now if you start responding to opportunities that are being created.

“This is your chance to be in the right place at the right time.” - Daniel Rosen

Even though some industries have it real rough, I have to say - it’s a great time to be doing credit repair. First off, the mortgage industry is booming at the moment. And whenever their numbers are up, ours start to rise right along with them. If you’re running a home-based credit repair business, you’re probably already starting to feel it.

Second, because of massive layoffs and businesses closing down, people’s credit scores are going to drop during this period. They’re all going to need your help in getting them back up again.

In days that follow, people will need help with their desperately need credit repair. And if you’re serious about changing people’s lives with your work, now’s the time to do it.

Top Ways You Can Take Advantage of the Opportunites Created by the Current Crisis

If self-quarantine is making you feel itchy and you’re out of ideas what you should do, don’t worry. I’m here with my list of top suggestions on how you can be more constructive with your time.

“Do something productive every day. Use this time to move your business forward, any way you can.” - Daniel Rosen

Make Sure People Know You Do Credit Repair

The key to marketing and getting clients is about letting people know what you do, and you can help them. I can’t emphasize the importance of social media when trying to get your message across. So whether you’re on Facebook, Instagram, or some other platform, you have to make sure people know that you are the person that can help them improve their credit score.

It’s very simple and extremely effective. In fact, in one of our previous episodes, I’ve shared my super easy Facebook strategy, template message included, that will help you get your first client. You can check it out here!

Set Up Automations

Now that you’ve mastered the basics of credit repair, worked out your processes, and let everybody know you’re the right person to turn to, you can make your personal page. Create a space where people can get more information that will, in turn, help you acquire leads. Get your visitors to either book a call with you or get them to sign up for a freebie.

After getting their contacts and as you start building your list, you can set up automations to get even more clients. Create email sequences that will help you build a relationship with your audience. Share some tips and give them some free advice. It’s a great way of showing people you know your stuff, and they’ll be more likely to sign on for your offer once they realize they could use your help.

I hope these tips help you take advantage of these massive new opportunities.

Thank you for tuning in.

Stay safe, and keep changing lives!

It's week three of quarantine. And the most important thing I can be doing right now is to help you through this crisis. So if you're in the credit repair business, you're gonna want to stick around, because today, I'm going to tell you how to turn this crisis into an opportunity.

So the big question is this, how can we take our passion for helping people with their credit, and turn it into a successful business without taking loans without spending a fortune by bootstrapping it from nothing, so we can help the most people and still become highly profitable? That is the question, and this podcast will give you the answer. My name is Daniel Rosen, and welcome to Credit Repair Business Secrets.

We're now in week three of self-quarantine, at least in most parts of the country, and many of us have had major shifts in how we do business and how we show up for a business. Some of us who normally work in an office are still getting used to working at home. And for those of us who are used to working at home, there are now so many more distractions. Kids, family, the news, Netflix,... And many of us are having a hard time keeping focus. There was one day last week where it finally got to me, I woke up. And I thought, "Oh, I'll just sleep in a little more." And then a little while later, I thought, "Oh, I'll just put on my robe and I'll shower and shave and comb my hair later after breakfast." And then after breakfast, I thought, "Oh, I'll just watch the new Morning News before I get started on work." And before I knew it, the whole day had flown by and I was still in my bathrobe with my hair all crazy and my teeth all furry and I was in a really bad mood because I had been watching the negative news and I was so angry at myself because all I got done that day was binge-watching Tiger King. Nothing against Tiger King, but I really want to stay on track. So here's what I did today. I got up with the sun, like it was a normal day, I jumped in the shower, brushed my teeth, shaved and fixed my hair just like it was a normal day. Then I got dressed just like it was a normal day. And then I wrote down my to-do list just like it was a normal day. And then I sat at my desk instead of getting sucked into the TV. Like it was a normal day. And you know what happened? I got a shit ton of stuff done. And my depression ended. Now look, when we turn on the news, we only see bad right now. So many people are sick and so many are dying. And yes, our hearts go out to them, and we need to do our part to flatten the curve and to slow down the spread. So we need to say inside we know all that. But at the same time, we must do constructive things to move our business forward, because we have families to feed and bills to pay. So we need to better ourselves and better our businesses so we can come out the other side of this even stronger. So if you're getting distracted by all the bad news, here's how to regain your momentum. Sleep well get a morning routine, plan your day, write down your to-do list, mark the top three, and then check them off all day long, because you've got a lot of work ahead of you. And here's why. The crisis we are in right now may be the biggest crisis we will ever face in our lifetimes. It's colossal. But the most important thing to remember about a crisis is while it does affect a lot of people, this is also a time of great opportunity. So what you can do during this crisis can either help have an adverse effect on your business and your life. You can freeze and panic and do nothing. Or you can use this time to create massive opportunity that lasts for decades. How do I know this? Because I've been through this before. During the last crisis, I almost lost my house. I almost went bankrupt. I was in collections with Bank of America. They were trying to take my house. I almost lost everything. So the crisis back then, it pretty much landed on my head. While and while I was dead broke. I also launched Credit Repair Cloud. And the whole time I was building it. I knew it was the right thing to do. And what happened was amazing. During that crisis, people were losing their homes, their savings, the economy was crashing, and it was a really terrible time for everyone. But something amazing happened. People became more and more obsessed with their credit, because their credit was getting ruined. There was such a need for credit repair, that when I finally launched Credit Repair Cloud, there was such pressure and so much need. It was like getting shot from a slingshot. And that was also the start of the credit repair, boom. And that put me in the right place at the right time. So here's what I want to tell you. It's happening again, it's happening right now, here's why this is important to you. This is your chance to be in the right place at the right time and to have massive opportunity. This social distancing thing, it's it's not going to end anytime soon. Because even when things open up and returned to normal, it's not going to return to normal. People are still going to be freaked out about being near other people for a very, very long time. Long after this is over and people are Going to be afraid to go to offices. But throughout this whole crisis, I'm seeing really interesting things. For example, when you watch the news, you're seeing people in their homes, guests, as well as some of the hosts, they are at home. And it's suddenly very acceptable to work from home. And you know, who's thriving the most right now, home-based businesses, many of the traditional businesses that are out of business right now, but the people with home-based businesses, the ones who really have their shit together, they're really crushing it. And you know why? Well, one of the reasons is that the mortgage business is having a boom, their numbers are up right now. And when their numbers are up, our numbers are up. This is the best time in history to have a home-based business and it's absolutely the best time ever to be in the credit repair business. Because not only is the boom happening right now with this mortgage boom. But in addition, you're about to have a huge wave of business from all the people whose credit is being ruined right now, they are all going to be your clients very, very soon. At a time like this, your clients are going to love that you're working from home, and that you can do this all remotely and that they don't have to come to see you. People used to hide that they worked at home, they were embarrassed about working from home. But now those days are over. And I think that's awesome. The last crisis was a massive opportunity for me. And it was a massive opportunity for the rest of the credit repair industry. And this opportunity will be even bigger. If you want to take advantage of this opportunity. Here's what you need to do. If you are just learning credit repair. Good. That's awesome. Learn basics, get really good at it. Practice with as many clients as you can free or paid, it doesn't matter. Learn your craft, your number one goal should be to learn how disputes work, and to get your processes down. And I'm talking about basic dispute training and using the software, you need to learn this inside out and backwards. So if you're just at this starting level, and you haven't done our credit hero challenge, I highly recommend it because it will help you to get your first clients and it will help you to get your processes down. It's the best training we've ever created. It costs very little, and you can sign up for it right now at credit hero challenge.com. Now, if you've already got your processes down, maybe you're not sure how to get clients. So I'll tell you an interesting thing. So many people in our community, they complain that they can't get clients but Then when I look on their Facebook page, there is nothing there about credit. How are you going to get clients if you're hiding, this is the time to start telling the world that you do credit repair, do it on Facebook, do it on Instagram, let everyone in the world know that you are the person who knows everything about credit. And then set your personal page up to drive people to your site, or to free resources or to book a call with you. So you can start to capture them as leads. But if you're going to start focusing on getting leads and traffic, you don't want that traffic to go to waste. So if you already know your basics, and you know how to get some leads. Next, you want to start setting up automations. Now, what does that mean exactly? Well, I'll put it this way. someone visits your site. They may not be ready to sign up right now. If you have a way to capture their information, like their email address, maybe in return for an E-book or, or a free consultation, then you can start them on an email sequence, which is a drip campaign. And you do that to nurture that lead. So here's the important thing about drip campaigns. Okay? And these are a series of emails that you send a person. These are not ads, okay, you're not sending ads over and over again, because that will turn people off. Instead, every few days, they're getting tips from you about things that they can do to improve their credit. And you know what, they'll appreciate it because you are giving value, but they're too lazy to actually do it. And so one of those emails is going to hit them on the very day that they are finally ready to sign up. Now there are a zillion other automations But that's one of the ones you're going to want to set up first, because it really, really works. It's one you see me do all the time. If you've signed up for anything from us a free book, or a guide, or one of our courses, or even a free trial of Credit Repair Cloud, you're going to start getting all these emails from me, and they give you great information. And they're fun to read. But you know what it's like, for me, it's like having thousands of fishing lines, all reeling in. See what I mean? This is why people set up automations because they really, really work. And then you gradually start to have so many clients that you need a team. And this is how you start to scale a business. Now, you don't have to do all this at once. If you're short on funds, or short on time, you can start by learning just one and then taking the time to build it or if you've got little time, but you have the money, hire someone like Derek Harper with his automate my flow. He's got all these ready-made automations that you just plug into your business and you plug in the Credit Repair Cloud. And then you've got the automations going. What I'm saying is, use this time to your advantage, come out of this crisis stronger and ready for the credit repair, boom, because it's happening. Now. You also might take a class in marketing, or spend an hour reading a book about business. Do something productive every day. Use this time to move your business forward any way you can. We are going to get through this strange time. It will get back to normal, but it's going to take a while. So the best thing you can do right now is focus on keeping your routine and that's going to keep you sane, it will keep you productive and it's going to ensure that you get to the end of this crisis with a much stronger business. All the people who have made over a million dollars in Credit Repair Cloud, they have all done this work. They all learn their processes. They've all built a team. They've all built automations. And they are all thriving, even during this pandemic crisis. Remember, this business works if you work. I hope this is helping. I hope this is motivating. Keep taking care of yourself and each other and keep washing your hands and stay in.
