Are Your Credit Repair Clients HOOKED?

The very first tip I’m sharing with you is going to seem like the opposite of what you think you should do when building your client base. 

Before you just start trying to sign up lots of clients –– WAIT!! 

You don’t want to treat this part like it’s a race. 

Why? 

Because when you’re starting out, quality is king. The more careful you are about how you treat your customers, the faster you’ll get to where you’re going.

Here’s why quality is better than quantity: I’ve coached thousands of credit repair entrepreneurs from zero to success, and I’ve interviewed the most successful business owners on the scene today, including the over 45 Credit Repair Millionaires on my office wall. I keep hearing this over and over from so many of our 6- and 7- figure Credit Heroes: They say to WAIT, and focus on serving the clients you DO have. 

I agree with their strategy, because in the beginning, the key is not to focus on how MANY clients you get, but instead, focus on nurturing your existing clients. Before you know it, they’ll be giving you 5-Star Reviews and telling all of their friends about you. THAT’S how you grow.

The next thing you need to know is

Automations are your BEST FRIEND

 

So whether you’ve already quit your 9-5 or credit repair is still your side hustle, you’ll need to implement some level of automation into your client experience.

I hear this time and time again–– someone has launched their new company, they’ve got experience under their belt by fixing their own credit and helping a few family members and friends –– and then they sign up some paying clients.

But they get overwhelmed with the day-to-day, so the clients only hear from them when a payment is due, or maybe not even at all. And as a result, there’s no connection, no engagement, and –– the kiss of death for a new business –– no referrals or 5-star reviews by the client to help get the word out!

So how can YOU avoid that trap?

Connect with clients when they’re HAPPIEST!

Every time you’ve increased someone’s credit score, every time you get a deletion, every time you’ve punched back at the Credit Bureaus and Collectors and scored a WIN, make sure to let your clients know about it!

Why does this matter to your business?

Well, that way, your clients will associate you with POSITIVE RESULTS, and not just the problems and the hiccups that always come up when you’re a business owner.

AND the kicker is that you’ll be able to ask for the BEST reviews and referrals when your clients are feeling GREAT!

Have a “Do The Right Thing” Policy

When your clients DO call with any problems, make sure you keep the trust you’ve worked so hard to earn by doing the right thing. Is the problem a result of your own business process? Did you hire a new employee and something fell through the cracks? 

If so, be prepared to give a refund of a month or even two –– because nothing will cost you as much as a bad review.  

The bottom line is if you treat your customers with respect, take the time and care to build trust, and put systems in place to make sure they are getting the consistent attention they need, it will pay back itself in dividends!
